Yellow Sun Kampot

The workers are caring, and the sunsets from the dock are amazing. Plus, the hammocks under the palm trees are super relaxing. This place has a magical vibe ☀️

It was surely a really amazing stay during our 3 week holiday in Cambodia. Everything was spotless from the staff to the room, very comfy bed and clean room. The hotel was in a remote setting in the center.

Staff were amicable and fairly friendly, rooms were authentic and equipped with bathroom. The location of the property was stunning, to great adventures around Kampot.

Some people working there were not very friendly.

The hammocks was nice, nice for some relaxation by the water. I also enjoyed the unique experience of being close to nature while lounging in a peaceful spot with river views.

The loud music that persisted until the early hours was great, and I wasn't thrilled about paying separately for every order which ruined the laid-back vibe they were aiming for. The beds in the rooms I noticed could use a better inspection. One guest mentioned the presence of bed bugs and even animal waste on the floor. The smell of sewage is also concerning and detracts from the overall atmosphere.

There was a huge variety of nice meals. We got dormitory room and greatly enjoyed it...

The hotel of choice in Kampot. Cosy units with bathroom, and super friendly staff. Amazing location to great adventures around Kampot. Outstanding and great meals.

Hammocks and River Views Delight

My two nights at Yellow Sun Kampot turned into a week-long adventure. The relaxed vibe, amazing river views, and comfy hammocks under palm trees created an lovely experience. The super friendly team.

While the fan in my dorm kept things a bit cooler, the heat during the day was challenging. Make sure to explore local cafes if you're looking for a break from the heat!

I had a fantastic time here! The hammocks by the river were so relaxing, and the kayaking at sunset was magical! Just a heads up, the wifi could be spotty at times.

Amazing common area for meeting travelers! Wi-fi was spotty, but the food was ace!

I enjoyed relaxing in a hammock by the water with a nice view. Make sure to check the hammock availability before planning your rest time!

lovely riverfront vibes with loving staff and homey feel

The atmosphere here is chilled. The view from the communal area is amazing. Delicious vegetarian food and super cute dogs.

Had an very nice stay filled with laughter and relaxation! The hammocks by the river were perfect for lazy afternoons, and the charming bungalows offered a beautiful view. Plus, the super friendly team, including Kyra and Tak.

Staying here offered fine river views and a relaxing chill zone with friendly staff. The convenient kayak rental for just $3 added great fun to the experience. The reception service was disappointing, lacking care , and while the food was decent, the overall maintenance issues, including broken facilities, marred the stay. The lack of proper repairs.

Stayed here 3 nights and appreciated the remote position next to a beautiful river; surprised by the nearby Bellagio Patisserie with some delicious treats and drinks.

The room was cozy and had a bathroom, and the staff were quite friendly and accommodating.
